ERG Annual Away Day

The ERG holds an annual research Away Participants of the 2001 ERG Away DayDay. These meetings were established in 2001 and were held, until 2005, at Hatfield College, University of Durham (organised by Dr. Andi Werner). In 2006, the meeting was held in the Grey Street Hotel, Newcastle upon Tyne. More recently the meetings have been held in conjunction with other meetings in Dundee (Epithelial Biology meeting 2008 and 2010) and Newcastle (Physiological Society themed meeting 2009). The objective of these meetings is to provide a platform for PhD students and members of staff to give informal presentations about on-going research. The meetings provide an opportunity to initiate and strengthen collaborations between members of the ERG and invited guests from other UK academic institutions and industry.
