| With the advent of skype part of the course has enjoyed experts from around the world joining the students during lectures and seminars. Baladevan R from Delhi, talked about choice and competition in the India school market context on the Education Policy and Entrepreneurship module, providing first hand insight into parental choice when it comes to private schools for the poor |
"Baladevan Rangaraju, Director and Founder of India Institute" |
The Placement module allows students to research in India and Ghana as well as other developing countries providing students with ‘hands on’ experience in order to participate in discussions and debates in an informed way concerning development issues and education. Many students over the last few years have experienced working in a developing country in low-income areas and experience the problems, challenges and engagement at first hand. This masters pathwya encourages students to think ‘outside the box’ about education in the international context.
