Diverse Voices? Curating a National History of Children's Books will be held on Friday 24th November 2017 at Seven Stories: The National Centre for Children's Books, 30 - 34 Lime Street, Ouseburn Valley, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 2PQ. Please note that the Into Crongton with Alex Wheatle event on Thursday 23rd November 2017 will be held at the Percy Building, Newcastle University, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 7RU. The Percy Building is a 10 minute drive or 20 minute walk from Newcastle Central Station, and a 5 minute walk from the Haymarket Metro and Bus Stations.

Thursday 23rd November: Tapas and wine reception, 8pm, Northern Stage
We are aware that several Diverse Voices? participants will be arriving on Thursday 23rd November and may wish to attend the Into Crongton with Alex Wheatle event. Therefore we have arranged for a tapas and wine reception at Northern Stage at 8pm in the Mezzanine, which includes vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. The cost to attend is £20 per person.
