Personal Liability Insurance Scheme - National Autistic Society
Available exclusively to NAS members, this Personal Liability Insurance Scheme has been designed specifically to help to protect you, should a member of the public hold you responsible for bodily injury or damage of their property caused by a person with ASD in your care.
Annual cover costs just £24.00 and offers up to £1 million in cover, protecting an unlimited number of carers if named on the policy. More than one individual with an ASD can be named on the policy - making it perfect for families.

Workshop on Anxiety in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
A workshop for parents on managing their children's anxiety took place in February 2009. The data summary on the anxiety survey on young people with ASD will soon be published. Grateful thanks go to the Lord Mayor of Newcastle who donated ₤4,000.00 to cover the costs of the survey and subsequent workshop.
The Second Daslne Conference 'Searching for Answers' took place on Thursday, 26th March 2009 for parents and professionals. The Conference highlighted the essential contribution that families make to research in the puzzling field of autism and provided an opportunity for families to decide their priorities for research.
