EU Projects

Currently CREAM are involved in two EU Framework XI projects:
- SEAMLESS is a European Union funded project that aims to develop an
integrated framework for assessing the impact of policy and environmental
change in agriculture and agroforestry, through the integration of approaches
from the economic, environmental and social sciences. It will produce a suite
of tools which can be used by analysts and decision makers for exploring
alternative policy options. CREAM are leading on development of economic
indicators for the project.
- ITAES is the acronym of "Integrated Tools to design and implement Agro
Environmental Schemes". ITAES
has two main objectives (1) The construction of an integrated
tool to analyse the interaction between the institutional process and the
environmental outcome. (2) The construction of an integrated tool to analyse
and simulate farmers' environmental supply depending on a range of different
governance mechanisms. CREAM are leading the consideration of the development
of governance attributes for agro-environmental schemes and undertaking work
on the UK case study.
