PNT paper from the Herbert lab in Nature
A recent study from Mary Herbert's lab published in Nature brings pronuclear transfer to prevent mitochondrial disease a step closer. Louise Hyslop et al. show that early pronuclear transfer, soon after meiosis II, improves the development of eggs to the blastocyst stage. They also explain how the carryover of patient mtDNA can be minimised.
